Blue Monday

Have you noticed how fast Blue Monday is coming around. It is a great day to visit with Sally and her Smiling Sally friends. You will see blues like you have never seen before.

Recently on a day with my great grandson, we visited a little airport near where he lives. These buildings appear to be warehouses or sheds. They are very large metal buildings. Would you believe, inside each of these is a $100,000 and up lovely home. They literally custom build you a home inside this building. I have not been inside one, but those that have say they are beautiful. There are rows and rows of them and only saw one for sale and one for rent. On thing for sure, they do not have yard work.

They give flying lessons here. There are a few business establishments. Each building has a huge garage area for private plane, cars and all other things you would find in a garage.

These are their mailboxes.

After driving all around this complex and watching the little planes come and go, we decided to have lunch at this little cafe. It is located at the airport as well.

My great grandson was not eating his lunch like I thought he should. I told him in order to grow big and strong, he needed to eat more. His remark was "MeMe, I get so excited when you come I just can't eat". Well, that just melted my heart and I forgot about food.
He never ask for anything when we are out. However, after his comment, I would have bought him the airport if I could. I told him to pick whatever he wanted in the cafe gift shop. He selected this little blue plane. Blue is his favorite color.

This fellow had to come in for fuel. Naturally, he wore blue pants just for us. I was not aware the gas tanks on these planes are in the wings. My great grandson knew it though.

Hi LV
What a cute boy... so excited he can't eat... that is so sweet... from the mouth of babes...

Well I heard of the 'pod' houses ... prefabricated and then delivered... If I had my own plot of land I think I would consider this.... The airport images are quite interesting.. I love planes.. and my brother took lessons for a while.. but over here it is a very expensive hobby... maybe there too...

Thanks for another interesting post... Have a great week x Julie

Your great grandson sounds like a doll! How wonderful that you get to spend one on one time alone with him...and it sounds like he loves spending time with you too!

This new housing idea is interesting! Not sure I'd want to live at an airport.

LV, Darling grandson, I can understand how he could melt your heart....how wonderful. Roy has a grandson, but we don't get to see him...very sad...he is missing so much being out here on the ranch.

Have a great day.

What an interesting visit with a special young man, LaVoice. How fortunate you both are to be able to spend time together. Happy Blue Monday!

I cannot understand why anyone would chose to live inside a warehouse.

Hi LV,
Hey they have bldgs like that near us at a municipal airport. I'd noticed they were very neat and clean and looked liveable even. But, I did not know people lived in them and they were custom designed inside. How cool is that?! I figured they were used to store their airplanes and maybe as offices. What'll they think of next?!
Happy Blue Monday~

Hi Meme,
That blue plane is my favorite .... I love it and play with it all the time! I can't wait to go back to the airport someday when I can fly the planes and take my Meme for a ride...since that is what I want to be when I grow up..."A pilot of a Blue Angel"...now wouldn't that put my Meme for a loop!!! I Love you soooooooo much, Meme....

P.S. I Love You More,

Layton
