Pink Saturday

This is a special Pink Saturday as requested by our nice hostess, Beverly at How Sweet The Sound.

One of the childhood memories I remember was at Christmas time. I was meddling in a closet, and found what Santa was bringing us. Up until then, I truly believed. It was sad in a way, as I thought there was someone else out there that cared besides my family.

We never had a tree like this one. Ours was cut from the woods.

Nor, did we have dolls like this pink one that sweet little Lilly is dragging around.

REGARDLESS, I WAS LOVED AND MORE BLESSED THAN I REALIZED.

Oh Lv...
Happy Pink Saturday sweetie. What a beautiful story, and you know sadly so many children that went on missions and found their Christmas found out the same disappointing thing. It is a sad way to have to learn isn't it?

I love the picture you shared of the cutie pie. So sweet.

Please stop by and read my story. I would love to share it with you.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

Thanks for sharing your story. I think most of us have similar stories. For me it was with my best friend and we found her bike. Her mom was not very happy with us.

Happy Pink Saturday.

I'll bet that most all of us found out about Santa one way or the other when we were kids... We're all just too curious I guess... But--I still believe in Santa!!!!!

Great post --and love that pink dolly that precious Lilly is carrying.

We got snow... Pictures on tomorrow's blog.
Hugs,
Betsy

Oh! I remember that day too when I realized there was no Santa. I think that is why I kept Santa a secret from my youngest for soooo long. LOL
Happy Pink Saturday!

I was so sad when I realized there wasn't really a Santa Claus. But my Mom told me to remember that he really did exist in our hearts. And I believe that he does.
Thanks for sharing your precious memory.
I love it.

What a sweet story! We all remember that moment when we realized that Santa was really our parents. But yet, over time we realized just how much our parents cared to make Christmas happen for us. The little girl with the dollie is really adorable. Thanks for sharing today. Happy Pink Saturday!

Smiles,
Tricia

Oh LV, it's so true that children seem to have everything today, but some how something is missing. I can't put my finger on it, but I think you probably know what I mean. A tree cut in the woods is better than any other tree out there. Just think of the wonderful time you have packing everything up, looking for the perfect tree and hauling it back home. The scent would be perfect.....I loved your story, thankyou so much, Happy Pink Saturday, Char
