Blue Monday

Most everywhere has ice cream trucks. The ones around here are staying busy in this heat wave we are going through. Perhaps we can find another at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com

My son recently celebrated his birthday. This was his cake. It was a red velvet bunt cake and so very good. Glad there was a small speck of blue.

Pink Saturday

Trust all the Pink Saturday participates are cooler than me.  It is almost unbearably hot.  No doubt there will be many cool pinks shown at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog

It is hard for me to not share a pink rose each week.  Thought this was a real prize winner.
