Vintage Thingie Thursday Chickens

Today on vintage Coloradolady day, I am featuring my sister's "chicken house". If you have a love of vintage things, the best place to go is http://coloradolady.blogspot.com.

This hen and rooster set is very vintage. She was visiting me in the early 60s and bought them while there. They are her favorites and named them after pet chickens she had as a gril. They are called "Henny and Penny". There is no markings on them.

This is also a very vintage piece. I made this for her back in the early 60s, bean by bean. I only made two and never will there be anymore.

This is a few of various chickens she has collected over the years. The hutch she has them displayed on is vintage. It is solid maple wood. They bought this new when living in Missouri during 1963.

This is a throw rung in front of her kitchen sink.

These are various shots in her kitchen.

She has much more, but what I have shown makes my post longer than I normally do. We have had enough chicken for one day.
