Outdoor Wednesday No. 1

This is my first visit with Susan, A Southern Daydreamer.I enjoy the Outdoor Wednesday gatherings, and so will you.

This is a shot I tried to make in the dark of one of my flower beds. It does not reflect all the colorful flowers too well, but just trying something different.

This a heron standing on the banks of Lake Palestine watching for fishes to appear. It is a beautiful area for outdoor life

Since I am an outdoor person, I have a lot of scenes I can share with you. Trust you will find something to your liking and visit me in the future.

Well hello there Texas girl, we are neighbors. I have visited Lake Palestine often and I love the picture you took of the heron. Just last night, I had a heron in our pond in the backyard eating our little fish right out of it. I hated to scare him away but I like my fish to live. Unless it's a catfish , in which, they better watch out cause I'm coming after them with some cornmeal : )

Hello, LaVoice! I'm so glad you joined us for Outdoor Wednesday! I've met you before at another meme, and I'm happy to see you here! I love that heron... isn't he remarkable. You really got a great shot of him... he's so still he could be a statue.

Happy OW to you, dear lady!

XO,

Sheila :-)

LaVoice, Welcome to OW, I was shocked when I saw the picture of Lake Palestine, I live in Jewett, so we must be close and then I saw Giovanna said she had visited there often. Maybe we could have lunch sometime.

Welcome La Voice to Outdoor Wednesday. Isn't it strange how blue heron's are grey? Lovely photograph.

Good Morning LaVoice!
Love the photos. The photo of the heron is absolutely beautiful. I have never seen one up close and personal. Great capture. It appears that Lake Palestine is a beautiful lake and so many have visited there. You may have some neighbors and don't know it. Country Hugs, Sherry
