These are 1976 Sunbeam bread football cards. A limited supply of these promotional items were offered to the public. I have no clue where I got these or why I still have them. Digging around, I found them stuck back in a forgotten place.
I think you can read the team name and history on the back of each card. This one is of the Minnesota Vikings.

These are really unique never have
seen these before, must be a regional
bread giveaway? Neat item this week,
are you thinking Football? :)
Well I've never heard of these before! What a nice giveaway they must have been. I wish companies would do that now! I remember when there was always a prize in every box of cereal!
I don't think I've seen these before. They are certainly interesting. I don't think there is anything like this done nowadays.
wow they are fabulous!!..i love vintage trade cards/swapcards/postcards [any cards really] and i'm always on the look out for them :)
These are really neat. Never seen anything like them before. Funny that you don't know why you kept them. They may be worth millions. =)
Wow- I would expect those must be a collectible for a die hard football fan. Wonder what they'd fetch on ebay!
You never know what you'll find but you may have a real collectible. Sport stuff is still big and these are very unusual.
we don't have this kindda of promotional items at my side of the world.. but to those who collects football cards, these would be great items to keep.. Happy VTT
Wow, I don't remember these, but then there are a lot of things I don't remember. I would check to see if they are worth anything. Isn't it strange, the things we keep.
Enjoyed your Vintage Thingies.

Interesting! I would go on ebay and do a search just for curiosity's sake. It is really fascinating what some companies did to help promote their products.
These cards are really unusual, I never saw anything like them. They brought back a mellow melancholy for the past. In our highly accelerated society it is so nice to remember the slowness of the past.
very unique ...might me worth something
I have never seen those before!! Really cool! You have a couple of my favorite teams there too. Is it a complete set?
I love these older cards..I've never seen any like them before. They're just wonderful. Happy VTT and have a lovely weekend.
This was a great post...it is interesting to see some different things.
Have a great VTT!
I have never seen anything like that before - really interesting!
