New Years Good Fences

Kinda sad when you think this is the last Good Fences for 2015.  Theresa, it has truly been a joy visiting with you each week.  Looking forward to lots more special times during the New Year. Now, let us go to
http://run-a-roundranch.blogspot.com and see what others end the year with.

Closing out my fence year on a little fancy note.

to all the bloggers that take the time to visit and leave comments.  It means so much to me.  When I started blogging, never thought I would find so many great people.  I will never know you personally, but at times feel as tho I do.  However, I do have personally contact with a few via phone or email. Thanks to each and everyone for making another year very special. My sincere wish to each of you much happiness, love and most importantly health.

Outdoor Wednesday

Outdoors the world over this week has been wild. So thankful it is over and pray those that are suffering from all the devastation find peace and comfort. Looking forward to dropping in on Susan at
http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com and enjoy better sights.

All this water from recent storms. This is the street running in front of my house.  It was much more than  picture reflects.

I have a drain system, but when the rain is so hard and fast, it does not always take care of it.  It came to the back patio door, but did not get in. I had packed around it knowing the floods were coming.

We moved here in 1964.  This is one of the trees in the back yard.  It was considerably smaller back then.  Later, my husband mounted a rack on it to hang the water hose.

Over the years, the tree has eaten the rack.

Blue Monday

Smiling Sally

Nice to be back on Blue Monday after the holiday and this crazy weather. Christmas day it was 80 degrees and last night a "blue norther" arrived.  Today, may be as low as
29 degrees. I am going to pay Sally a visit at
http://smilingsally.blogspot.com and warm up.

What a welcome sight this would be.  Sunday the weather just about "blue" my mind. It thundered, lightening, and poured rain.  Then all of a sudden, I heard a noise like a car knocking in the street.  Low and behold, it was hailing so much, it covered everything like snow.  Never saw anything like it. It was pea size but a pile of it. Then the clouds opened up and flooded us.  The water higher than I have seen it in a long time.

Christmas Good Fences

It is hard to think of Christmas when it is in the high 70's here and will be the same Christmas day.  The weather is all mixed up worldwide. Theresa, I wish you the very best during the holidays. To all her blogging friends at http://run-a-roundranch.blogspot.com, MERRY CHRISTMAS.

This looks like my decorations, but did not have a pretty, white fence.

With creative minds, you can do wonders with fences.

This fence all festive for the holiday is from the internet.

Outdoor Wednesday Christmas

Susan, wishing you and all your outdoor friends the best  Christmas ever.  Just be safe and enjoy your families. Lots of enjoyment can be found at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com

Each year the downtown area puts of the annual Christmas tree.  It was much prettier than this.  I am not the best with my camera.
A big wreath I spotted on a store front.
This was in the lobby of a closed bank.  I made this looking through the glass door.  Picked up different things outside as well.

Anything Goes Pink Saturday

Santa is visiting Pink Saturday. However, we cannot forget to visit Beverly http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog and see
 many other holiday eye catchers.

Recently went to a local farmer's market, and loe and behold, Santa was there. Maybe someone requested veggies instead of gifts.
Just around the corner of the market, stood this cute little snowman all decked out.

What should make you happy.
When the day is deary and you are feeling sad,
Think of something cheerful to lift and make you glad.
If you are having problems, you are not alone.
Life's no bed of roses, everyone has some.
Count your blessings, help someone in need.
Its better to give than receive.
