Pink Saturday

Hello to Beverly and all her Pink Saturday friends.  Another great addition can be found at
http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog
These pink flamingos have been around for many years.  However, just do not see them as often. Was lucky to spot these last week and thought of pink day.

Looks like this poor thing broke a leg.

I love the little yard ornaments and have two in my yard! Even in Florida they are considered tacky but I don't care! It felt wrong to have one in Ohio so I couldn't wait to get one for my little cottage by the Gulf.

LV, nice to see that flock of flamingos. I haven't seen a bunch like that for a long time. Have a great weekend. Dianne

Your pink flamingoes are beautiful. I couple years ago, I passed by a yard that had a whole flock of them (plastic) placed all about (in the front yard). In real life, I've only seen them at Disney World. They are quite noisy birds, but still very beautiful. You have a wonderful holiday weekend. Hugs, Edna B.

Hello my sweet friend. The flamingos made me laugh. In Florida lots of people used to put them out as yard art. I like them much better in person. HA! They are truly gorgeous birds.

Happy Pink Saturday.
Love, Jeanne

I SO love a flock of flamingoes---i don't CARE if some folks think they're tacky. I find the colours so brightening to my mood, and my new white and pink kitchen is just a SHADE off true flamingo-pink. I told my painter lady I wanted Sweet'n'Low packet pink, and that's exactly what I got.

I love your bright cheer and wonderful photos.

I thought about you today and never got around to looking at your blog and lo and behold I turned on my computer and there was a comment from you sweet lady. As for the pink flamingos my daughter wanted to put 50 pink flamingos in their yard. for her husband's 50th birthday since he hated them but decided she better not.

There is definitely a flamingo in dire need of a nap on that lawn! They seem to be coming back into popularity again and I have seen several of them this summer.
Happy Pink Saturday,
Robin
