Trust wherever you are this Blue Monday the weather is kinder to you. We are having our coldest day in a LONG time. Sally at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com normally as a warm door open to welcomes us in.
We were told do this as long as I can remember. It is much cheaper than a plumber.

(I've never heard about letting water drip or run, but I guess it's a good idea to prevent freezing pipes.)

we were at 16 this morning, here a little further east. i will not complain, though, as so much of the country is so much colder!
It was 9 degrees here this morn. at 7...it's now 12 degrees at 10.
brrrrrr...put the soup on.

Wow that seems awfully cold for Texas… it is strangely 43 right now in NH… but -10 a few nights ago… very strange weather everywhere.

it's freezing here too
Hello LV, I am back from a holiday blog break and it is great to be visiting you today. We had a crazy busy Christmas and New Year. We visited all five of our children and went to a wedding. The hard part is they live in TN, NC and FL. A lot of traveling but we had a grand time.
It is freezing cold here too. In fact it is -5 degrees right now. When I saw the sign you shared we decided to turn the faucets on drip.
Brrrrr.

When we got up this morning it was -10 degrees on our deck. I'm more than ready for some warm weather.
Lots of cold freezing weather! It was so windy today I wasn't sure those Broncos would pull off the win! Thank goodness they did! Stay warm!
