Even lips look nice in a pretty, pink frame.

One of my final roses from last summer.  Will be so happy seeing them again.

Sky Watch Friday

With the weather so bad all over the country, the best way to see beautiful blue skies is at http://skyley.blogspot.com No doubt our great hostesses, Sandy, Sylvia and Yogi will not let us down.

Behind every dark cloud, there is a bright lining.

Vintage Thingie Thursday

Nice joining all the participates today for another feature of Vintage Thingie Thursday with Coloradolady.Drop by and say hello at coloradolady.blogspot.com.

For you that collect or like "tins", this place would have been paradise to you.  Never saw so many different ones.  All very vintage. Sorry this one is not the best, but the lighting was bad and I am not the best picture taker either.

Smiling Sally

Blue Monday with Sally has arrived.  Please join me at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com for the best of blues.

I have seen a lot of different blue bottles, but these really caught my eye.  I love the sea designs on them.

Sky Watch Friday

The  great team of Yogie, Sylvia and Sandy makes it possible each week for us to enjoy stunning sky sights from all across the world. Check them out at

Texas Longhorn in the sky.

It has been awhile since we saw a sight like this.  We desperately need rain. HOWEVER, IT IS VERY COLD IN TEXAS TODAY.

Vintage Thingie Thursday

Wonder what we will find today at Vintage Thingie Thursday with Coloradolady. Let's see what she has at
http://coloradolady.blogspot.com

As you can see, this is a 1939 Mickey Mouse Magazine cover, "Spirit of 76".  Not sure if you can buy anything for a dime anymore.  Spotted this in an antique mall.  Did not buy tho.

Blue Monday

Smiling Sally

Everyone meet me at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com for the most interesting blues ever. Sally, our faithful hostess, never lets us down.

This is a baseball sign from one of our Texas towns, but  not where I live.  However, here and most all other locations, the young guys are already practicing for the baseball season.

Vintage Thingie Thursday

Vintage Thursday is being brought to you by Coloradolady at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com.  It is a very nice way to spend the day each Thursday.

On one of my out and about ventures, I saw this container.  I had no idea what it was.  Lucky for me, it had a sign stating it was a metal, vintage, miner, railroad lunch box.  It had three layers.
