Hello LV, I hope you had a happy Christmas. We have been traveling since last Friday and I was on a short blog break. In a week we have traveled to our son in Raleigh NC and both of our daughters in FL. Tomorrow we are going to a wedding in Punta Gorda, FL. A fun and busy Christmas celebration that finally ends when we arrive back home to NC on Sunday. It will be good to be home.
You are right, it has been a fast year and it is a bit sad to see it go. Have a wonderful and healthy 2014.
I love your sweet rose. Roses are always special in my way of thinking.

Dearest friend, I agree that seeing one year pass is a bit sad but watching for all the wonderfulness the new year will bring is always a blessing. And, at OUR age, we are, indeed, thankful for another new year.
