Valentine Vintage ThingiesThursday

We are celebrating Valentine's day on Vintage Thursday. Coloradolady and her many friends will share many "sweet treats" at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com

Just an old fashion Valentine cut from red paper.

1972
These are my "twin" Valentines girls from the Hummel family. One of them has a special marking on the bottom, supposed to make it worth more.

I love your valentine Hummels LV. They are so sweet. Dates etc. do make them more valuable.

I didn't get to visit yesterday because our dtr and grands arrived and to my disappointment I have a terrible cold.

I hope you had a sweet Valentine's Day dear.
Love, Jeanne

I love the Hummels! Are they yours? I wish I had more money years ago when my oldest sister lived in Germany. They were so cheap there. A friend of mine inherited her late mother-in-laws collections. Oh my goodness what a beautiful collection. To me the Hummels portait innocence which is so rare in our world today! I hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day!
