Pink Saturday

Welcome to another addition of Pink Saturday with Beverly. This is a very popular blog. You can check it out for yourself at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog.

I have no idea why I have kept this fan for years. Cannot even remember where I go it. One thing is for sure, I did not keep it to fan with. I never get that hot.

Pretty pinks displayed in a different way.

I would like to introduce you to a new blogger I met this week. She is Mecky from Kansas. She shares a lot interest in different things just like the rest of us. She has some really nice vintage pieces. Take time to visit her at "Kettle Korner Kottage" and welcome her into the blog family. While you are visiting her, check out her profile. There is a neat story on how she came up with a name for her blog.

Your fan is so pretty. There was a day when "proper ladies" just carried these around to look pretty. I could use one most of the time, I'm always a little warm. Happy Pink Sat.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't remember where something came from, or why I even have it! That fan is really lovely, and so are the phlox. I can't wait 'til mine start to bloom, but that's not for many months yet!
Happy Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday LV Sweetie...
Now I have to tell you that fan is truly beautiful. I can see it as a background with a beautiful photo sitting in front of it. You could do many things with is, so start creating. I can't wait to see where it ends up.

Love the blooms of such pink splendor. How pretty they are.

I hope you are having a glorious weekend sweet friend. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Thank you for introducing me! That was very kind.

The fan is very pretty. So is the flower.

Did you know that woman use to carry scented fans, not just to cool off, but to cover the smell of dirty old cowboys? I learned that from a living history museum in my area. LOL!

I am really glad to have had you over at my blog, and I wanted to tell you that I admire you and the life you lead. Many twenty year olds should learn the taste of living from you!

A belated Happy Pink Saturday to you, LV! I had to laugh when I read that you never get hot enough to use a fan! My middle boy gave me a fan he had won when he was just a little guy and I've kept it all these years. It is pretty worn out now from trying to cool myself from all the power surges I've had. Those blossoms are gorgeous! Thanks for your visit and I hope you have a lovely week.

Blessings,
Sandi
