There is one thing for sure mother nature paid no attention to this sign. During the last few days, we had two days of spring, no summer, or fall, but a BLUE norther hit. Even had snow last night. No where but Texas could you do this. The wind so strong I had to put rocks in my pockets or blow away. Weather wise, we had a miserable weekend.
My Blue Monday with Smiling Sally today is just plain and simple. If you joined her at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com you will see something of greater interest.
A little blue lantern waiting to be used to light up someone's path.
Something to look forward to.

You have such a cute sense of humor! Darn wind! Crazy weather, we get it here too. Snow, 65 degrees, rain & wind, 55! Go figure! Colorado is a fun place to live!
I like the lantern and your suggestion for using it.
I love stopping by. Have a great week!
This weather is soooooo crazy, we had 8" of snow over the weekend. Like your blue lantern. Have a nice warm week.

LV,
Reminds me of the scripture, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet!"

Whatever you had in Texas is coming our way, LV. We've had rain all day--and supposed to get snow late tonight and tomorrow.... Unbelievable!!!! GUESS it's also "Don't Mess with Tennessee"!!!! ha
Neat lantern.
Hugs,
Betsy
My father worked on the railroad and he had a lantern like this one.
Spring is coming soon. It's passing through California this week and I'm pretty sure it's heading your way.
I know, the weather is bonkers! I might need more than rocks in my pockets to keep from blowing away though... Nice post!
Happy Blue Monday! My Blue Monday's here!

Wonderful shot. Very nicely placed.
Nice choice for today. Happy blue Monday...
Hello Meme, thank you for your sweet comments while I have been gone. I am still in FL with my daughter and family but I finally have a few minutes to spend on the computer.
Keep those rocks in your pockets for sure. The blogging world would be very sad to lose you. Especially me!!!
The blue lantern is a lovely treasure from the past. I am so glad we have power aren't you? Smile.
Have a better day today.
Hugs, Jeanne

Happy Blue Monday...Luna
It was in the low 70's here Friday and by Saturday we were covered in snow. My husband went to rescue our daughter & her husband when they got stuck in a snow drift on Saturday and he got stuck too. Couldn't get him out Sat or yesterday. Hopefully there will be enough melting today that he can manage to get the truck home.
Neat blue lantern :) and I just love your Don't Mess With Texas sign! No matter where I live I'll always be a Texas girl! Happy Blue Monday!

As lanterns go, that's a pretty one.
I heard Texas got some more crazy weather! I have the 'don't mess with texas' sticker on my car- used to live in HIll Country the past three springs and summers, and i miss it!

Please don't blow away! Sounds like Carolina weather. We always say "If you don't like the weather right now, just give it a few minutes and it will change".
Love the blue lamp...and I am ever so glad you didn't blow away!
