Outdoor Wednesday

Please join me for another great Outdoor Wednesday with Susan, A Southern Daydreamer.

Perhaps some of you saw this in the paper or the internet. I got this picture off the internet. I could hardly believe what I was seeing, so wanted to share it with all of you.

A man out of the Colorado-Kansas area took this awesome shot of a red-tailed hawk and a Kingbird. It was stated that Kingbirds are fearless. Seems this one felt his territory was being invaded.

Guess the kingbird doesn't realize that he is smaller than the hawk...What a neat picture. I had not seen this one.

Oh LV,
I had not seen this sweetie. Oh my gosh, can you imagine? If we had not seen it with our eyes we would not have believed it. How awesome. A little guy taking a ride? The Hawk is giving him a ride home? He's to tired to fly himself? Oh my, just precious and so totally awesome. Caught right in flight. Thank you for sharing sweetie. Please stop by soon. I have missed you. Country hugs, Sherry

LV, many a time I saw little birds "mobbing" bald eagles when I lived out on a sea island. It was amazing. Their bravery is much greater than their size. What an amazing picture you posted!

I have seen how pugnacious these birds can be! Quite territorial.

Amazing photography! That little bird is defending his home and family and no one is going to get in his way no matter how big they are! LOL!
