I do not like or want a storm, but wish we could see weather coming in like this. We are still having a terrible heat wave. Temp 102 and higher every day. Even at midnight still in high 90's. No relief in sight.

Us too! But we have had floods as well. And the rain does not cool it off, only makes it more humid.
A very dramatic sky capture!! We are having a heat wave in S CA, but not as bad as yours. We generally get overnight lows into the '70's, which make things a little more manageable and we don't have to run our AC all night. Of course, when we go out to the desert this time of year, it's ridiculously hot! Hope you cool down soon!
