Looks like he is having a wonderful time.
Golly...he sure is growing...and so so handsome.
Yes, I am finding joy in things again...oh, I still have day...but mostly I am facing ea day on 2 feet again. It's taken me a solid year since he passed to be able to eat in our dining room again. I just got so sad, I couldn't do it. I made my plate and would take it to our living room and eat on a table in there. I finally decided it was time to enjoy my pretty room again. It has been such a struggle....but, then, you know just what I am talking about...and how I feel. It's such a hard thing to go on without them by our side...I still am not sure what I am supposed to do the rest of my life....
Blue shirt, blue sky...what more could we ask for on a Monday?
Dearest LV.,
That is a great photo from your great grandson!
We indeed lived through a blue Monday after coming home from a trip to our Podologist in Atlanta, we noticed that boy cat Bandido had opened his 'tumor' on the chest. The Vet though Friday it was a mammary gland tumor and would operate on it on Tuesday morning.
So what to do? She advised to put something like a tube on him. I cut off the sleeve of a paint-stained knitted silk sweater from Pieter and used the lower cuff as his 'mock neck' and cut two holes in it for his 'arms' and he looked so cute. Did put gauze on his open wound and used bandage for securing it all behind his shoulder. We were devastated as it said on the internet that mammary gland tumors are 85-90% malignant even in male cats. But the phone call that came a couple of hours later was a surprise. She told me it was an abscess that she now had flushed out and he got stitched up and ready to be picked up by 4:00 PM. So happy for him and for us. He's still wearing his silk sweater as this morning he was tugging at the stitches and they're supposed to stay in for 2 weeks!
Hugs,
Mariette
