Outdoor Wednesday

We  are having our first real fall weather.  Been clear and much cooler.  However, I enjoy warmer weather better.  You will love the sights at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com
What have we here?  One of the fun things we did when kids. We had no idea what store bought toys where. In fact, even today, I try to find them.

What is this, a sand box? I always wanted one, but never got it.

I don't quite understand it myself

What game is this? Is it mandala?

That’s nor the right name! Something similar to the word mandala. It’s a counting game with beads or small stones. Do you know what I mean?

Just stopping in to say "hello", we're enjoying the cooler weather too. Wonder how long it will last.

I'm not sure what the photo is, but it reminds me of the "tar bubbles" in the summer. It would get hot and the tar on the street would bubble up and we would go around and pop the bubbles with our bare toes.

You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.

I'm with everyone else, is it just playing in the sand? I made a grocery store in my basement as a child.

I remember as a kid we used to make mud pies...literally out of mud. It was fun...and we used imagination. Unlike the kids' toys today.
