A neat idea and it looks nice too.
Anything is better than just the trash can! Our next door neighbor built a tiny arbor and let ivy grow on it to hide his trash can.
I had to smile. I think that is the best looking trash cover I have ever seen...and I love the blue color.

sure does hide it a bit. One blogger from spain posted today of a dumpster that lies in the ground and is pulled up to be emptied.
Neat place to hide a trash can..... Here, our community rules say that we have to hide our trash cans and also our propane tanks (if we have them)... We added propane gas (natural gas is not available yet on our street) for the fireplace. SO---George built a nice little shed for our tank!!!!!! It's pretty --but not as fancy as the one you showed for the trash can....
