Pink Saturday

According to the calendar, spring is here.  However, nature and the calendar failed to coordinate.  The only signs of spring around here is the weeds growing like crazy. I am going to drop in on Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog and see if spring arrived at her place.

I have heard more birds singing. We do not see many as pretty as these around here.

We are expecting a thunderstorm here. We have had day after day of rain but I am not complaining because we really need it. Happy first day of Spring sweet friend!

As you have enetered Spring, we here in Australia have enetered Autumn (Fall to you ) although we are still getting quite warm days...the evenings are cooler nad the mornings darker. I love each of the seasons for the changes they bring....although if we had winters with snow I may have to rethink that comment. HPS..enjy Spring...Michelle

A bird tray, I love it! Is it in a store window? Spring starts here at 6:45 P.M. And yes, I am counting the minutes.

Hello LaVoice, I think we would welcome those weeds right about now. This morning it started to snow at 9:30 and it's still snowing. I think we have about 6 inches by now. I'm really ready to see and feel Spring. Happy Pink Saturday, enjoy those birds and the sunshine. Joyous Wishes, Linda

Good morning dear LV, Spring is looking pretty here in the mountains. I hope your weather changes soon. The bird pic is so cute. We are finally putting out bird seed again. We can't leave it out at night because the bears will come up the deck stairs and try to get the bird seed. Yikes.

Stay warm and happy Pink Saturday.
Love, Jeanne

The sun is actually shining for the first time in several days here in Tennessee. I'm actually hopeful.

I love birds in the wild! I love to see them singing cheerfully. We have two fat robins hanging around our yard. My goodness they have spent the winter eating well! We also have two mourning doves that sit on the telephone wires and serenade us occasionally. Always my pleasure to visit my wonderful friend. Have a HPS and beautiful weekend.

Hello, LV and thanks for stopping by. Spring is definitely here at my house. Daffodils and pear trees are blooming. But still chilly at night.
