Summer always seems to pass too quickly! Happy Blue Monday!
school seems so long ago but some of it I can remember like it was just yesterday which is not bad after 42 years. I have trouble remembering what I did yesterday but some stuff I am there in a flash even primary school............ one of my fondest memories is walking to the local church a journey of about I mile when I was about 6 and holding gloved hands and singing carols. Ah yes, school. It seems that summer just began, and indeed, where I live, it's still ON with the temperatures in the 90s.

I still rejoice each fall that I am not part of the back to school crowd. I needed home schooling back in the 50's and 60's. The routine was a killer for me. Surprisingly I loved the first few weeks back, probably because it was a change of pace and full of new stuff, clothes, supplies and friends.

Glad he's enjoying every minute, our girls started back today. Our daughter is also a new vice-principal this year and very excited for her new journey.
