Vintage Thingies Thursday

Coloradolady is having a big celebration at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com showing off  many of her friend's vintage finds.

This is one "booth" you do not see around anymore.  Time really does change things.

A  1950 Gum Ball machine I spotted in an antique mall.  Click photo to read card better.

Is that a real working phone booth or something for sale at an antique mall?

You don't see those telephone booths anymore much, do you????? AND--even though I do see 'modern' gum ball machines, there's none quite like the ones from 1950... Love the memories.

Betsy

I lve the telephone booth! And I remember them too. AND the gumball machines! My cousins had their own...I was very envious...I must have been about 10 or 11 I think.
Happy VTT!

Hello LV, you always find fun things to share. I always wanted a gumball machine too. But that was then certainly not now. HA! Phone booths are a thing of the past for sure.

We are getting snow tonight. It has been raining for a week and now it is cold enough for snow. Yuck. I am missing the sunshine. However, I really do not mind winter here in the mountains. Season changes are awesome.

Blessings and love, Jeanne

Oh dear LV, I wish you could come to my house, I would call my mom and both of you can have a nice conversation. My mom speaks English, she lived in the USA since 1951 and now here for 20. Such memories with the gumball machine and of course the phone booth..I'm in love with them! Thanks for your great visit. Big hugs,
FABBY

Love the gumball machine! Though the price brings a smile to my face when I see it's only 1 cent for the gum! :-)
