Today brings the end of Vintage Thingies Thursday for 2011. It has been a pleasure being with Coloradolady and her friends each week on vintage day. Join me at http://coloradolady.blogspot for out last gathering for the year.
These are paperback sized comic books from the 80s.
I do not have these little vintage editions. I spotted them in an antique mall.

While I was never a big comic fan the last two books are more my style. The illustrations look so comforting.
Yay I love comics! ^_^ Reminds me of my childhood. ^_^
I remember the little thick comics! And I remember the big thick ones and the big thin ones. I wonder how much a comic costs nowadays? They used to be ten or fifteen cents. The thick ones were twenty five cents.
These illustrations are handsome.
Fantastic vintage books, and I remember seeing them.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I still love comics and anything that's animated on the tv. I used to have a Rupert Bear album. It was a favourite book and I suspect it fell to pieces from overuse long ago.
Happy new year.

the graphics on the Hansel and Gretel and the other one are wonderful
Hi LV!
Thanks so much for sharing those! Oh my gosh, you would not believe the boxes (and boxes) of comics books I found at my parents house. So much fun to look at. And I adore those wonderful vintage covers, so very sweet.
