REDnesday

A wonderful way to spend you day is dropping by REDnesday and saying hello to Sue http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com.

It takes a lot more than this little red fan to cool you in Texas. It is almost unbearable with no relief in sight. I do not see how some people can afford to pay their power bills.

I know exactly what you mean. The size of some of the new homes being built and the rising cost of utilities makes me wonder too.

I've heard you're all getting a lot of heat and dry weather! Wishing you cool breezes ASAP!

HI LV, We don't use AC much--but I'll admit that it has been very hot here lately.... IF this heat keeps up, we'll turn that AC back on... We do have tons of fans around which help, and it usually cools off at nights and in the mornings... BUT--late in the afternoon can get pretty miserable.
Hugs,
Betsy

That little red fan is adorable! I live in Las Vegas and we have been hitting around 112. We have been swimming alot. It's too miserable if you don't. :)

It sure does...the A/C runs from May until October and then periodically after that just to get the humidity out of the house. I'm afraid we need more than that little red fan.

I just found your site meter down there. Looks good! That is EXACTLY the same one they gave me to start with, but I went to the web page and followed the instructions under "options to change your site meter" or something like that.

I know what you mean - - - I want mine to be free too! I didn't pay for it.

My brother in law is up for a month from San Antonio, hard to believe St Louis is cooler!

LOL! Where I currently live, it's quite hot, and it would take more than this little red fan to cool us off as well.

It's a cute little red fan, though. Where did you get it?

My prayers are with all who do not have air conditioning. You really need here in NC , too.! Great red pic!

That fan is adorable. The hot hot hot summers was one reason I moved to Kentucky many years ago - but come back every year to visit, you guess it, in the summer! Happy Rednesday!

I hope you soon enjoy some steady rain and a stiff northern breeze.

I've never seen a fan with red blades! Now that is "HOT"! And speaking of hot...it was 94 degrees here in SE PA today. And our A/C was working...thank goodness.

I am not looking forward to summer over here in Australia. I can't cope without air conditioning but you are right, it costs a small fortune to run it!

Take care and stay cool!

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog. It was so nice to hear from you!

Best wishes,
Natasha.

I thought Texas was an oil producing state. When your fan whirl, does it look like a circle of red?

LV, that fan would be so cute in the children's playroom! How adorable. The summer heat is getting us in Arkansas, as well. My tomatoes don't like it at all. Thanks for being such a support and encouragement, lovely lady. Blessings to you. Gloria

I really like that little red fan, very cute. Sorry the city couldn't have fireworks this year - the heat has really been a record breaker. We're even considering putting a fan up in the backyard so they can finish the deck with some air moving!!!

We could sure use that beautiful red fan here in Tennessee. It's hot!

What a great little fan! It's so cheery and bright. Boy, it's hot here, too. I woke up and it was 80 degrees inside the house - yuck.

Yep - it's hot in the CA desert, too - and humid, YUK! I'll take the dry heat any day! LOVE the red fan!

We are in the same boat, LV..the way we can pay ours is to keep our house about 76 instead of 72. It helps a lot on the bill. We use a fan, too, but it isn't nearly as cute as this red one. :)))

That's a pretty little fan! We installed our a/c's around Memorial Day, but haven't used them yet - the weather has been unusually cooler than normal this time of year here in Mass. I've been tempted a few times, but toughed it out!

we have a little break today in the humidity that has been sticking to us here. most heat I can handle but not the humid. your little red fan is adorable! Faythe @GMT
