BLUE MONDAY

Blue Monday has not been the same without Smiling Sally. So nice that her granddaughters are keeping us informed about her progress. Seems she has a long way to go, but is making great strides in her recovery. Even though we cannot link in, we can still show our support by keeping our post going. For the latest report go to http://smilingsally.blogspot.com.

Two different views of blue.

Skiers enjoying the ride on clear, blue water.
Recently members of my family were in California for a few days. Knowing what a blogging addict I am, made some pictures for me while there. This is one place I will never be. They were sightseeing, not shopping.

How sweet of you to keep Smiling Sally's Blue Monday going on your own. It gives me cause to pray for her. And by the way, I loved your "Hymns" post! Cute, cute!

The blue water of the lake sure looks inviting on a hot day like today. I don't think you would ever find me on Rodeo Drive, either.

Aw to shop on Rodeo Drive would be heaven!

Happy Monday to you! Wedding pictures are coming soon. :-)

Hi Lavoice, We saw lots of different colors of BLUE while out west. One of the prettiest were those gorgeous deep blue skies...

Have a great day.

Betsy

Hi LV,
So sorry to hear about SmilingSally...I did not know. How sweet of you to keep her Blue Mondays going. Thanks for stopping by and your nice comment on my story of growing up in the late 40's and early 50's.

~Jean
P.S. I did make it to Rodeo Drive on a visit to my daughter and her husband when they lived in San Diego - didn't buy anything however! LOL!

Hi LV, we are all praying for sally's recovery. Your post is so touching and you are right. We need to support her special day and her in every way.

Water skiing was so much fun when I was young. Your photo you shared is a good memory. I have been to Rodeo Drive and it was awesome. Still, there is no place like home and we are happy to be home where my heart is. It is good to be visiting you again and more often. You really are a dear blogging friend. I admire you very much. Thank you for being so faithful in your visits to my posts.

Happy days to you,
Jeanne

I think it's so sweet that Sally's granddaughters are keeping her blog updated and letting us know about Sally's progress.

I would rather be right here on my little farm than Rodeo Dr any day! That lifestyle does not appeal to me in the least.

Blessings,
