Welcome to Pink Saturday with Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog.
One of my special friends from Sweden, Elisabeth, at http://petiteyekiss.blogspot.com sent me this lovely pink handmade brooch.
This little tag was attached showing the creator of this crochet brooch. Be sure to check her blog at http://angelpearls.blogspot.com. She does excellent work and has much more to share with us.
This is a copy of the nice letter Elisabeth sent with the gift. As you can see, they were leaving for vacation. A long the way she would send me a post card. I received today this pretty card from her travels somewhere in Sweden.
As you can see, I even kept the envelope the brooch came in. I was fascinated by the stamps on it. I found them to be so interesting.

HI LV Sweetie...
What a beautiful share today. I love the crocheted brooch that your sweet Elizabeth made for you. The little pearl is definitel the element of surprise. I can't wait to see it pinned on a lapel for Fall, or even a purse. How beautiful it will look.
Love the postcard too. And from Sweden. Wow that is a long way to come. How long did it take? When was it postmarked?
I too would have saved the packaged envelope. I would keep the stamps for sure, as you never know when you might craft them on to something.
Hope you had a beautiful day sweet friend. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
