I have never driven a Volkswagen, but understand they are economical cars when traveling to
a camp out retreat.

I think the Volkswagon Bugs are so cute! And they have survived many decades looking the exact same way.
Your bus photo reminds me of lyrics from a song, "Traveling in a fried out combie, on a hippie trail, head full of zombie..." Something like that, although most of those words are foreign to me and I may have them wrong... ;) It's Down Under by Men at Work.
That bus camper looks like such fun. It could be a great way to travel about on vacation. You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.

Well in the early 1970s we have had a Volgwagen beetle but that was not a good one...
Don't miss it and it is not a very safe car and not good for shopping or transporting things or persons.

I imagine the mileage is far less than the average. I wish I had a motorcycle for the mileage, but I don't want to get in an accident with one.

I am doing ok..its very hard as you well know...life does go on and I hope you are right in that my sadness will get better with time. Even with all my family around, I have an empty spot in my heart all the time. He should be right there, by my side and he's not. I am thankful that he's in a place where we all want to go someday.
LV, we've own a couple of VW bugs but don't have one right now. They are fun cars to be sure. That camping van looks very tempting to vacation in! Thank you for sharing with us!
