Anything Goes Pink Saturday

A truly lovely day in Texas for Anything Goes Pink Saturday. Beverly always makes us feel so welcome when we visit http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog

Want to apologize for not visiting or commenting since I got back from my sisters. Just have not been up to it. Doing good getting a blog posted. I do appreciate all your visits and comment. Bear with me, I will get back in the groove soon.

This young fellow is always in the pink when it comes to calf roping. He does very well and has won many awards.

A nice, big belt buckle won for this event.

It makes me sad to see grown men doing this to baby calves. I call it animal cruelty, and I hope these kind of sports are abolished really soon. This is not why God put these beautiful animals on earth.

I do love the pink shirts though. You have a wonderful evening, hugs, Edna B.

Dearest LV.,
Lovely post and you take your time lady.
It took me more than a week for getting back in my routine after coming back from Europe.
Sure, I did lots of driving, 4,135 km as my husband is your age and with the traffic abroad, that is really too much.
Also the emotional part after having spent time with friends and family, it is back home to the USA.
Like amputating yourself once more; for the 65th time to be frank.
Hugs,
Mariette

Is that a great-grandson? But don't worry about visiting or commenting for a while. Good grief, I have to take a couple of weeks off and then longer to catch up every time we go for even a short trip. And i am sure helping your sister took a great deal of energy, physical and emotional -- those things are just plain hard.

I am sure all your readers/friends would rather read your posts when you have some time and energy left over than have you worry about visiting us. But of course I do hope you get back to normal soon. Virtual hugs coming your way from Oregon.
