Outdoor Wednesday makes hump day for a lot of people much nicer. Our hostess, Susan, would love to have you stop by and say hello at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com
This has been my home since 1964. It no way compares to some of the big, fine houses, but it is home to me. When it was built, it was the only house in the area. The man that built it, only built this one. I am very blessed to have had very little maintenance all these years.
I keep and maintain the yard myself. I truly enjoy being outside working in it. Of course, now it takes me a little longer with rest periods thrown in, but it keeps me going. The following beauties are the result of this work and my love of flowers.

I love, love, love your flowers in your garden. Ranch homes are the BEST. You don't have stairs to deal with. Easy maintenance but all those chores take longer but in your 80s, you deserve it. I always look forward to what you are going to post next.

Your home is beautiful. You truly are inspiring as to your caring for your own yard and landscape. The flowers sing to my soul. We have a cape cod and need to sell and find a range style. Thank goodness there is one bedroom downstairs. With my store bought knees I never go upstairs. Enjoy your day.
I admire your home and your garden is absolutely stunning! When you love what you do, it shows!
I always wanted a house with no neighbors. My new house we're closing on has more privacy to the neighborhood.
Lovely colorful garden!
My dear friend, your home and your garden are truly wonderful, your flowers filled my heart with such a joy, thank you for sharing them with us !
Hope you're having a lovely week, I'm sending blessings on your weekend ahead,
may it be filled with love and wonder,
with sincere gratitude

You have a lovely home, and your yard is simply gorgeous with all those beautiful flowers. Unlike you, I have lots of neighbors, but I couldn't tell you anything about them because I keep to myself. I live on a main road, so it's a different kind of neighborhood. My old house is big and keeps me constantly busy with house and yard work. But I love it!! I will stay here until I can no longer take care of it. After that, I hope to live next to a pond. Hmmm, we'll have to wait and see about that.
You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.
your place is beautiful, lv. i'd never want a large, grand house. harder to make it a home and much harder to clean! :)
Oh, your roses and irises are beautiful! Your sweet home looks cozy and strong. I am amazed at your doing the yard work! It wears me out! :)
