Blue Monday

Another fun day with Jeanne and her Blue Monday bunch.  If you have not seen her special Monday feature, please go to backyardneighbor.typepad.com and enjoy the blue show.

This is another fine young fellow that is very special in my life. Just not able to see and visit very often. His name is Luke.  He is 11.

He is interested in many things. Even had a taste of acting in school plays.
He has participated in various sports. However, his biggest interest now is Karate. He has his brown belt and is studying for his red.  This is a Christian Soldiers Karate which teaches American Karate combined and intertwined with the study of God's word. This type Karate is different from the regular.  He can only earn 2 belts a year after he passes their test which is very strict.
In this photo, he is the one with the black helmet.

LV, You can link up now. I had to do the process.

Luke is a handsome young man and he is active like my grandsons. They took Karate too. All the way to their senior year of school. How fun that he is having fun with school plays. You never know where that can lead. Studying Gods word is wonderful. You have a lovely family in so many ways.

Thank you for your sweet comment. We are very blessed to live where we do. Also, that I am close to my sisters. I am very thankful.

Happy Blue Monday.
Love, Jeanne.

PS. Thank you for your email. I loved learning more about you. xo

Looks very good for a school play. I was in one at middle school. They made us make the costumes which varied from okay to terrible

Dearest LV.,
What a very special and valuable teaching of Karate in such way to incorporate good morals. That should be taught a lot more nowadays because you see and hear some language that surely doesn't pass.
Sending you hugs and thanks for sharing with pride your lovely family!
