Outdoor Wednesday

I am taking you to a tulip farm at Pilot Point, Texas, about a two hour drive from where I live.  This family is originally from the Netherlands.  When the older generation was gone, this young family came to the United States.  After awhile, settled in Texas.  They have worked and now have the only tulip farm in Texas. They are in full bloom March through April. Now, let us check out the other outdoor sights at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com

Hi LaVoice.... Don't know if you have heard yet --but Sally (Smiling Sally) died. As you know, she had suffered from some health issues --but never let them get her down... What a wonderful lady... I will never forget her Blue Monday meme. Recently, I have kept up with her on Facebook.. I am so sad this morning... That's two blog/FB friends I've lost recently... May God be with Sally's family and loved ones.

I am sure that she is SMILING in heaven now and out-of-pain.

Love,
Betsy

I just learned of Sally's passing...I am heartbroken, just as everyone is.
She's whole again in Blue Heaven, walking and talking with Jesus.

My day is brighter because of your tulip photos. Thank you.

This is the first I've heard of Sally's death. Her warm heart will be greatly missed.

Those fields are just stunning LV! Since I don't see Spring flowers here in Florida, I especially appreciate seeing them on friend's blogs. Thank you for the beautiful pictures and the beautiful memories.

I sent this post to my daughter who loves tulips and lives in McKinney TX. I visited there from Indianapolis a week ago and Dallas is a huge place. My dad's family came from the Netherlands many years. Need to go back and read all your posts...
