Today, we are really going back in time. Many still speak of the "good old days". Believe me, they were not all good. However, this was one of the best. Join Coloradolady at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com

We didn't have a McDonald's anywhere near us when I was growing up. We had to go to a 'larger' town (Kingsport, TN) in order to stop and get a burger at a 'drive-through' place like that... Such excitement back then.
Oh, I remember well when the McDonald's opened in our town. Love the retro signs. Anyone remember this? "45 cents for a 3-course meal? Sounds to me like that's a steal."
After picking up my daughters from Kindergarten and pre-school, we'd sometimes stop at McDonald's for lunch. I remember the 3 of us could eat there for a total of $2.00! Those were the days!

back before even Ronald McDonald
I well remember those fifteen cent burgers. And when we were first married, hamburger was fifteen cents a pound.
McDonalds was a favorite treat for our family when I was a child. I remember the arches and the "over ...sold signs" very well.
I saw my first McDonalds when I was 15 years old and they came to our small area. xo Diana
