Pink Saturday
May each of you Pink participates be surrounded in "pink" today. If this sky is not pink enough for you, go to
http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog where you will find some of the best pinks ever. While there, drop by and say hello to our Pink Saturday hostess, Beverly.
Since this is Cancer Awareness month, took this pink sight from the internet. However, my neighbor recently had a double mastectomy. She has finished what they call the bad chemo treatments and now into the not so bad. She has lost all her hair and now wears a wig. Her husband, in an effort to support her, had his head shaved. The last report indicated she is doing well and progressing like she should. Sad part, the world is full of those that are not.

Your neighbor is blessed to be doing well! I pray it will continue for her. This is such a terrible disease and I hope a cure will be found and soon!

We mulch our leaves, too. While our yard is small, we have lots of lilacs and a couple big trees and so we have lots and lots of leaves! It is so good for the yard!

Wow, what an amazing pink sky! Happy Pink Saturday, LV :) Spring greetings from Australia♥ ~Pernilla
We do have lovely skies in Texas.:)
I have three friends that have had their fight with breast cancer and survived. So many just don't make it.
I pray for a cure.

So true, LV, so true. I really liked how her hubby shaved his head in support. I hear that it is very very important to have a great support system when going through the treatments. Praying all is clear for her in the end.
Have a great weekend!

Nice pink sky to accompany this post LV. I wish the best for your neighbor. Her husband is so sweet and thoughtful to go bald in support of her. May she get better and better asap :) Happy weekend!
Beautiful Pink sky dear LV...I've seen some like that around here too and I love it! God bless all the ladies that have survived breast Cancer in the world. Enjoy your weekend.

have a wonderful saturday
I actually got to see a pink sky yesterday morning! It was beautiful like yours. Praying that some day soon a cure will end this terrible disease.
Hi LV, what a sweet reminder of Pink for cancer awareness. The pink sky is so pretty. Your story of the person who is healing from breast cancer just makes me so sad for her and her family. My sister had a breast removed years ago but she is a survivor. Her daughter had it too. Cancer is a terrible disease.
My sister who just had surgery for Uterus cancer is doing wonderful and she has every chance to be cured. A blessing for sure. If only everyone could be cured.
Have a great Sunday my sweet friend.
Love, Jeanne
Prayers LV! It took me back to the day I visited a cancer centre in Banglore (India) when one my relative terribly suffered. That day I came to know the summers in the others life. One point where I was dumbstruck was even if the cancer doubly affected in two parts of her body, when i bid the farewell, her husband asked me ""How do you feel , did she recover ?" Even if she passed away, the memories pervades!
Thanks for the wonderful write up!
Good day to you and all!
Perfect way to celebrate Pink Saturday, LV.
Have a great Sunday.
Hugs,
Betsy
