My Blue Monday with Sally is a little different today. If you will go to http://smilingsally.blogspot.com, there will be many pretty blues to enjoy.
I usually buy this brand as it contains only a few biscuits. In this case, I did not get to enjoy them. On the day I bought a lot of groceries, these biscuits were in the sack with canned goods. Not paying attention, I simply put them in the pantry with the cans. Never gave them another thought, until one day I was getting a can out of the pantry and the top of it felt funny. The top of the biscuits had blown up and landed on the can.
I make mistakes, but from now on my biscuits will go in the frig where they belong. I really should not be telling some things I do as my daughter-in-law reads my blog.
JUST TAKE FIVE MINUTES OF YOUR DAY TO DO SOMETHING NICE. IT DOES NOT COST A THING.

Happy Blue Monday, LV! Oh, wow! Yes, best kept in the fridge :) Spring greetings from Australia♥ ~Pernilla
Morning La Voice,
You've got me chuckling today. We all make silly mistakes like this one. I can just imagine the gooey mess in your pantry!
Thanks for sharing your blues.
Happy Blue Monday!
Oh, we ALL do things like this!! I have left food in grocery bags that should have been in the fridge and had to throw it out! And Phil is famous for leaving some things behind in the store from time to time.
Even a simple milk container with a blue label can brighten one's day!
Nice blues. I think biscuits bring a warm smile to everyone's face!
LOL...misery loves company LV. I have done similar things. Leaving perishable food in the car for example.
oh, that made me laugh. totally something i'd do. :)
I used to make canned biscuits a lot but now I can't stand them. I have to go to a fast food place to get me some.
The biscuit looks funny :D
Don't worry LV what's written in a blog...stays in a blog! Or something like that ;D
I can't believe that they blew up!
Makes you wonder what they do in your tummy? :$
Thanks for giving me a giggle.
Happy Blue Monday to you!
Lots of pretty blues in your photos for HBM ~ carol ^_^
Oh my, I hope the cleanup wasn't too bad! Too funny! Those Grands are good biscuits though!
That rich cookies!
Oh well, I think thinkgs like this happens to all of us. The best thing to do is laugh, as I did reading your post!
You gave me a big smile with this. My husband has been known to put refrigerator items in the pantry when he unpacks the groceries. I just smile because I am thankful he helps.
What a funny blue post - those biscuits definitely belong in the fridge!
Oh LV, this really made me laugh. Who hasn't done something silly. I put a whole galleon of ice cream in the refrigerator. Not the freezer. I'm so sorry you didn't get to enjoy your biscuits.
Why did you have a power outage? Yikes.
Love, Jeanne
Hi LV
It's fine your secret's safe with us...
You should have tried taking them back to the store, I'm sure they would have chuckled like we all did and have given you a replacement can. And/or send your blog link to the manufacturer, they will thank you for the publicity and send you a years supply of free biscuits - although maybe your fridge is not big enough for a whole years worth?!
Silly me;)
Have a great week
Wrenx
Senior moments happen, even to people who are not seniors! Recently I left what I thought was just a bag of canned food on the floor to discover a pound of ground lamb in the bottom after several days. But it didn't go to waste, I went around the yard and put a little in the top of a number of mole holes- it grosses them out so they don't come up and push dirt out (and bury plants) at that location again!
I'm so sure that I have done worse!
At least you found it before it attracted ants. Hope you get to enjoy a can soon.
Hugs,
Patti
We could be sisters! Love my coffee and cereal too! We buy those biscuits and yes, I suppose the fridge is there best place! But the story made me chuckle. we all do silly things like that! Great blues!
