Random Shots/ Tuesday With MEME

These are different sights that caught my eye when out and about. That is why it is important to always have your camera handy.

Was out in the yard when I heard this noise overhead.  Looked up in time to catch a glimpse of a helicopter going over.  Did not not have to zoom in closer.
Since I enjoy a good cup of coffee, this caught my eye as I was driving down the highway.  It was right in front of me.

I am sure this sign fits a lot of homes now.

This  resembles a doodle bug hole, but I doubt that was the creature that doodled it. Spotted this on a sidewalk in a nearby town. All the doodle bug holes I ever saw were in dirt, not concrete. You can see strange things growing or coming out of concrete.  I do not understand how a plant will thrive out in the middle of a hot street and die in your yard.

It looks like an ant hole to me, but do they ever make holes in concrete...I think I have seen them...but then they would have to dig through the concrete layer to get underground, their tunnels are very large and complex. I LOVE the football sign!!

I need to get that football sign -- my Beautiful Bride is definitely an avid football fan. You certainly captured a lot of coffee going down the road. These are all great photos.

HA----it is strange to see plants live on hot concrete --and yet struggle in a nice yard!!!!! AND---why do weeds do so well in areas where you don't want them????? ha ha

I laughed at the football sign... My son (who got married last October) had to work the wedding around his football schedule... ha ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Funny football sign, but both of us enjoy watching and rooting for our teams.

Yes, football takes over. The only thing I mind is the talking over the roar of the crowd. I get soooooo tired of the roar of the crowd.

Loved this post! When we were little, my sister and I would crawl under grandmothers log cabin and dig up the doodle bugs out of their holes. There was a song we sang about it, but I don't remember it now!

The last sentence about the plants made me laugh out loud. Too true.
