Vintage Thingie Thursday

Coloradolady always has a grand sharing of vintage goodies. It is so much fun going to http://coloradolady.blogspot.com each Thursday to see all the neat vintage features.

Turn the vintage radio on and listen to Amos & Andy or Lawrence Welk.

This vintage sewing machine is for all the people that enjoy sewing.  It is a blessing they have improved. I saw it in an antique mall.  I just go and look, but rarely buy.

My parents had an old radio which looked a little like that. They loved radio --and listened to it alot... I remember hearing Jack Benny on the radio.... AH--the memories....

Hugs,
Betsy

I used to watch both of those shows. That is a pretty jazzy machine! I have never seen an old one painted with designs like this.

Hi LV, thank you for your sweet comment today. I so agree with you.

I love to shop for antiques too but I rarely buy as well. I'm trying to give things away at my age. Smile. The sewing machine is particularly pretty.

I was just on Suzanne's blog and her post wasn't up yet. She made the sweetest baby quilt. My post is about Roy Rogers. Long but very interesting. I'll check her post in the morning.

I'm so glad you are my blog friend.
Love, Jeanne
