Coloradolady and friends are here again to entertain us with vintage goodies. Let's hurry over to http://coloradolady.blogspot.com and see their treasures.
All the photos are needlepoint that I did back in the late 60's and early 70's. I thoroughly enjoyed doing it, but not now. My eyes are just up to this type work anymore. I gave several other pieces as gifts.

Beautiful work. My hands and eyes do not like close work anymore either.
Gorgeous needlepoint, LV. I can tell that you were really good at that --when you did it. My eyes aren't nearly as good now as they used to be either... Darn it!!!!!
Thanks for sharing the beauty.
Hugs,
Betsy
Oh my, you did beautiful exquisite work!!!! I used to do crewel work and hang it.
Beautiful! such delicate work. Thank you for sharing.
What lovely pieces of work, do you sell your work? I would love to get some for my Devon accommodation.
These are beautiful, nice work and lovely display!

Your needlepoint is extraordinary! I enjoyed it when I was younger, too. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day.
Exquisite needlework you have created LV. I tried to do this kind of 'work' but never was content with my finished products.
Have a great day ~

Beautiful work, LV! I want to see if U can still cross stitch now, but I never did any needlework that intricate. All I can say is, "wow!"
Very nice work! I used to do these back in the 70''s, before I was married - still have a few of them packed away!
These are very beautiful! They do raise a question though, is there anything you do not do? I am beginning to think you are Wonder Woman.
Your needlework is beautiful. My mother-in-law had a piece similar to the long one in your first photo. My daughter has it now. You're not the only one whose eyes are not what they used to be.
What a lovely collection! do/did cross stitich but my eyes are giving me a bit of trouble too...we must be over 35! LOL! Does that mean WE'RE vintage too???

Wow! such fine work. That takes alot of discipline and patience. Beautiful. Thank you for visiting and commenting at ShabbyTeaParty. Warm Hugs,
those are beautiful. I love the winter scene and the birds.
Those are so darling LV and your groupings are so lovely. I used to do a lot of needlepoint too - it's fun to look back at things we made long ago, isn't it?
Happy VTT!
These are oh so beautiful! And the fact that you made them yourself makes them all the more special! I love those ones with the flowers. Please link them to our "What's It Wednesday" party. I can't wait to show them off!
Hugs,
Patti
Beautiful work you did LV! Thanks for sharing it.
Your stitching is beautiful. You chose classic designs too - they still look good.
Oh I am swooning over the seasons at the cottage ones! And the bouquet of flowers is another I adore. I just bought something to embroider and am going to try my hand at it again.I am so glad you stopped by Behind the Gate so I would have an opportunity to meet you.
Blessings,
Gayle
You are always complimenting me on my crochet but I had no idea that you did such beautiful needlepoint! These are beautiful!
Hi LV, such a pretty pink flower for the dull winter months to share. Pink always makes one feel better. It lifts our spirits.
Your needlepoint is beautiful. Very detailed and well done. I love each picture you shared. You should be very proud of the lovely handwork you shared.
Have a wonderful weekend dear friend.
Hugs, Jeanne
I had to stop and see this post !
they are so pretty : )
I have a few tapestries from belgium, when we lived in the Netherlands I collected some .. the biggest is about 5x3 that hangs over my bed .. we don't know how old it is and it could use a good cleaning .. Europeans smoke like chimnies !! Any suggestions on how to clean one carefully would be wonderful : )
