Those are both lovely LaVoice! I took a picture at our daughters' this afternoon of the sky through their Black Walnut tree -- I haven't looked at it yet, but hope it turned out half as good as yours! (We had a rare sunbreak this afternoon, so she and I took advantage of it -- she by raking leaves, I by taking pictures!)
That second shot with the sun through the trees is magic! Is that a swing bridge or something in the middle??

Thanks for visiting my blog. In answer to your question about my camera, it is a Canon Power Shot A1100IS, very easy to use, I just stuck it out the car window and and snapped the pictures. I couldn't see what I was taking, I can imagine the people in the cars behind me thought a camera would go flying away any second now. However, I hung onto it and snapped away. hee, hee.
I like both of your sky captures through the trees. Very well done!
