Blue Monday - Special

My Blue Monday today with Sally at Smiling Sally is not my normal showings. Sometimes you just have to venture out and trust someone will enjoy it.

---------------L A Y T O N--THIS IS FOR YOU------------------

This was a nice surprise my great grandson made, with a little help, for me last week. When he gave it to me, he said I could put it on my blog. I nearly fell over. How many children at the age of five even know what a blog is. I assure you he does. He knows I need all the help I can get. You notice he colored his little shirt blue so I could use it on Blue Monday.

This is a great work of art. He did this all my himself just for me. He made sure the sky was blue.

Did you notice he even initialed it like a real artist and signed it to me. Even dated it. Dates are important on everything. A prized possession.

He loves blue. We both enjoy being outside in the yard or doing most anything. He needed a shovel to help me plant flowers, so this is his little "blue" shovel.

This has no blue, but wanted to share it as a part of things he was involved in. These are prints of his little feet. They made them look like a ghost for Halloween.

THERE MAY NOT BE A LOT BLUES FOR TODAY, BUT THERE SURE IS A LOT OF LOVE. LOVE YOU MORE.

LV, that is just the sweetest post. Who cares if there isn't a lot of blue today when you have something this touching and special to share! What a little doll he is, and he obviously adores his grandmother. I think it is precious, and I'm glad you shared this with us. And those foot are a hoot as ghosts! :-)

Happy Blue Monday...

XO,

Sheila

You two did well with this post and I hope he gets to read and enjoy the comments. We all think his grandmother is a special lady, just like he does.

LV thank you so much for stopping by to read the Fairy story, and yes its such a wonderful treasure I have so many to share with everyone since my mom has returned from her trip back to Enid. We had a family emergency there and she was able to find little treasure along the way for me. I know I am 31 but treasure from mom will live in my heart forever.

Blessings,
Heidi

Happy Blue Monday. I've kind of run out of blue things to share. This is a good post.
I just noticed your age. I don't see too many bloggers older than I am. I'm glad I found you.
Have a wonderful week.
