Outdoor Wednesday

Here it is again Outdoor Wednesday time. While the weather is still nice, join Susan, A Southern Daydreamer, for some really interesting outdoor scenes.

This month in Texas dove hunting season begins. This is a couple of pictures from last year's hunt. The big fellow is my son and the smaller guy is my great grandson, which most of you know about. His little gun is only "pretend like". They both love the outdoors and hunting.

These are dried wild flowers from California. Connie, from http://overgoodground.blogspot.com/ sent me these in her birthday card. It is the little things that really can be important. Thanks Connie.

What a cute little hunter! I heard the pop pop of guns all day... dove hunting season started here too! Your blog's background is the prettiest I've seen yet!

My Dad was a hunter. This reminded me so of him. Thanks!

Your great grandson is a real sweetheart. He looks so proud to be hunting with his Daddy. Those are the kind of pictures that are memories in the making. I hope you are having a wonderful day.

What pretty dried flowers! The yellow color held so well.

You'd have to HUNT high and low for a more handsome pair of gentlemen. Your g-g-grandson sure is a cutie! Bet your son was so happy to have his grandson along as his sidekick.

LV,

I love the photo of the two men going a hunting! I would frame that because it is so classic and shows the admiration of your great grandson wanting to be just like the big boys!

The pressed flowers are simply beautiful and will be a treasure to you always and a reminder of your beautiful birthday!
