It is hot here in Georgia as well but we try to go biking before noon, that makes a difference.

These are gorgeous and unusual. I wonder what they are?
I don't know squat about flowers but these are really pretty.
It is so hot here, too...flowers still blooming, family going swimming, nothing looks a bit like fall here.

This is just too funny. Listen to this. For years, ever since a child really, every fall the poem by Helen Hunt Jackson goes through my mind...one line is "The gentian's bluest fringes, are curling in the sun." Now for whatever reason, I had never looked up to see what a gentian was. Then just the other day someone had a picture of them on their blog, and that is what this is! Go ahead and google 'gentian' and then click images!
BTW, these are sooooo pretty.
