Another great Outdoor Wednesday at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com
(This year's cutting)
Some of you may remember about a year ago, I took a cutting, like the above, from my neighbor's gardenia bush. After a few days, the blooms dried up and fell off. I thought the leaves were so pretty and green I kept them in the water. To my surprise, it rooted. These are my flowers from the little plant I rooted. My friends and especially the neighbor just cannot believe this is from that tiny little leaf.
The sad part is that the neighbors has not bloomed this year.

So pretty! It truly is a miracle plant! What a wonderful surprise!
LV had to laugh at that. That is a beautiful flower. I need to try some of those. My clematis are beautiful this year. Haven't looked at my hydrangea yet. Afraid to.
wow, that's awesome!
That is truly amazing. Our gardenia bush has been dropping leaves like crazy, but it also has bloomed. I can't figure it out. Your flowers are beautiful.
You must have a marvelous green thumb. Your rooted plant is beautiful.
I've seen plants grown in between buildings and a sidewalk. Plants are hardy. From a little piece, look what grew in your loving hands. You must have a green thumb. I'm sorry that the neighbor (who shared with you) that their plant isn't blooming yet. Perhaps it will later.
