A truly beautiful Good Fences day in Texas. Not sure how long it will last, but sunny, warm days are so nice. Theresa will definitely have some lovely sights to share at http://run-a-roundranch.blogspot.com
I have found many "back roads" to take as opposed to the freeways. One direction I take two or three times a week there is a sign saying "No Outlet". I got brave today and ventured down the road to see why there was no outlet. There were several homes along the way. No outlet due to a house at the end of the road.
What really was a surprise and shock, this huge, gorgeous home among all the smaller ones. It definitely did not fit the area. This photo does not do justice as it was very large and so beautiful. I did not want to get caught roaming down a road I had no business.

it is nicely tucked away in there! thanks, lv!
LV admire you for you guts but you are right strange situation here. I love this Thursday theme. Blessings.
Great shots of wonderful fence and loved you venturing down an unknown road ~
Happy Weekend to you ^_^
That is quite a stately looking home beyond that fence. Glad you were brave enough to go down the road.
That is quite the fancy house! Glad to hear you had a lovely day for your adventures.
Wow, that is a big house and lovely too. It's interesting they only have a narrow white fence around it. Have a great weekend.
I really like those white painted Ranch style fences. I often venture down those roads to see what's there. Here in Australia the signs say "No Through Road". I rode down one on my motorcycle in the country the other day & was pleasantly surprised by a group of beautiful Alpacas on a property at the end. Thanks for visiting my blog LV. Hope you have a great day
Hello, what a gorgeous house. It does look huge. Great fence shots. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
Good for you LV - sometimes we just have to be adventurous and explore!
The house looks amazing - too many rooms to clean for me ha ha!

I prefer backroads, too. So much to see, and it's missed otherwise. We were out driving one day and passed the biggest house I have ever seen. Still curious as to who lives there. It was in a more rural area (as rural as Virginia Beach gets, anyway). But still, it looked out of place in what ordinarily would have been an agricultural area.
We love traveling backroads as often as we can too, but my husband likes to go down those 'no outlet' roads a little more than I do. He always wants to see what's at the end and it always makes me a little nervous too... I feel like you do. But I guess if it doesn't say 'private road' it is perfectly OK to go down the road as long as you find a place to turn around.
that is a beautiful home.
Hi LV, looks like you came upon a beautiful home with a pretty fence all around. Great shots. Have a special weekend. Blessings to you xo
I have no desire to own a home like that, too much work. However I enjoy traveling a road like that to see what is there. Guess I'm somewhat nosy and brave to go with it. lol
