Blue Monday

Most everywhere has ice cream trucks. The ones around here are staying busy in this heat wave we are going through. Perhaps we can find another at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com

My son recently celebrated his birthday. This was his cake. It was a red velvet bunt cake and so very good. Glad there was a small speck of blue.

Morning La Voice,

That's an eye-catching ice cream truck; I've never seen one like that!

That cake has me guessing. Is it supposed to represent a hole-in-one? In any case, I'm sure it was good (as all red velvet cakes are).

Thanks for playing today.

Happy Blue Monday!

Gosh, that cake looks yummy! And it would go so well with all that ice cream. We don't have ice cream trucks out here in the sticks, but I always waited for the one that came by our house when I was a child in San Antonio. My favorites were the Eskimo Pies. Wonder if they still make those?

Happy Blue Monday and have a wonderful week!

Happy birthday to your son! His bundt cake looked delicious. I don't see many ice cream trucks in my neighborhood--I think I only saw one once all summer.

I've heard good things about Kona Ice. There's one in our town, too, but I have yet to be in the right place at the right time. Happy Birthday to your son!

I have not heard an ice cream truck in our neighborhood this summer.
But I am sure my grand daughter would want some if she heard the music. ;)
Have a great week!

Oh that ice cream truck is sweet! I love red velvet cake so that birthday cake for your son is pretty yummy looking! My son Jeremy is in your town for a few days. He is living the life. They are training but enjoying some nightlife too. An Astros Game, he was already at the Cowboys stadium to check it out so he can torment Noelle! LOL! His girl Brittany, is a die hard Bronco fan but her mom grew up in Dallas-Fort worth. Uh oh have to behave...LOL! I wish you were in Vegas too. It would sure be fun to see you. Always my pleasure to say hi! Thanks always for thinking of me and stopping by the blog. Have a beautiful week. God Bless and take care. Hugs, Anne
