Trust your outdoors is better than in Texas. We went from one extreme to another. Have been under a severe drought for years and now the rain and storms are destroying things. No doubt Susan and friends will have a much brighter outdoors to share at

This is neither "Tom", Dick or Harry's cabin. It is the Fife Cabin (1930) in Zion Park. The cabin is part of their culture and they do not let you enter. A friend of mine had the pleasure of visiting this area and shared these photos with me.

quite a rustic place. yes, plenty of rain this spring.
I do like the look of that.
I've watched the news on all the bad weather in TX. I know the weather has been terrible there. Usually we get it after TX but not so much this year thank goodness. Love the little cabin, thanks for sharing the interior LV.......
Hope all is well with you.
Hugs........
So you can't look inside the cabin? Maybe only with an authorized person? It is so cool!
it does look old
We are having tons of rain too! In fact when I took some trash out this morning the air is just biting and sprinkling freezing like rain! Brrr.......That is quite a wonderful cabin! I remember our city park had a little cabin and we could only look inside the windows! That was tough for kids! I will be praying for your and your weather. Stay indoors and enjoy a beautiful day my friend! Hugs!
Doesn't look like anyone has been in there in a long time. Our rain is heavy too--everyday for about 2 weeks and more to come. Saturated.

That is a great old cabin. We have been swamped with rain here in between long dry spells. It is weird weather all the way around, I think. xo Diana
Hi, thank you for your sweet comment and for your stopping by. This is a lovely old cabin.

Such awful weather, I hope things settle down for you soon. Love looking into the cabin, historic places are fascinating!

I talk about rain and I write about rain, but I never complain about rain.
An interesting log cabin, pretty pictures !!
Hi LV, that's a lovely cabin but it wont stay that long if that is here! Like you we are now experiencing a long dry season and even at 7:00am we feel like it is >40C. My post previous to last shows the picture of our landscape, and if you will just browse on that post you will be introduced to the fascinating world of hoyas. You said you haven't heard of it, but even if it's a tropical plant a lot of temperate country growers are addicted to growing them. Try to browse on my posts on hoyas and you will see what i mean!
By the way you and my mother were born on the same year and you're both still active and blessed.

Wonderful shots.
Colorado is also having constant rain and some flooding, LV. No end in sight. This has been a very strange spring. Hope better weather returns soon!
This was an interesting cabin to see--thanks!
Places like this are quite amazing to see. I can't imagine living like that, but I guess you do what you have to do!
Wonderful piece of American history

I adore this cabin! Would love to have one just like it! Sorry you are getting so much rain! I heard on the news that there will likely be flooding.
I am a huge fan of log cabins, this one is beautiful to me. i am so glad i did not have to sleep on that bed.
