Have not enjoyed the Outdoor sights lately that are available each week at
http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com.
This is the only way we knew how to do laundry for many years. It is rare to see these days, but I spotted this sight recently.
Also, one of the few things I enjoyed living on a farm, years ago, was gathering the eggs. However, did not have a nice wire basket like this one. These eggs are from my nieces three little hens she has in her back yard.

I used to hang all my laundry outside. It smelled so good when I brought it in later.
We hung out laundry at my mom's. :-)
I hung out my wash when I was first married 40 years ago. It alwasy smelled so good when I took in it from the line. Those fresh eggs look beautiful!
I like the laundry picture! I also like seeing it when we drive around, it is colorful and you know someone is living there. Plus you can tell a good bit about a person by their laundry.
Hi There, I loved hanging my clothes out on the line to dry.. I would do that today IF I could. (Our community as a rule against outside clothes lines...Bah!)
I love the way sheet smell after being on the line...
We used to buy yard eggs (they were brown) from a lady down the street when I was young... Such great memories.
Hugs,
Betsy
My mother used to dry the laundry outside!:)
We need to repair the clothesline that came with our house. Towels and sheets hanging on the line are still the very best! My folks use to buy eggs from a lil farm lady about fifty miles from our house. We traveled up there once a week to get them. They were wonderful. Suzanne has such a knack for the hens and their eggs!
These pictures are gorgeous, beautiful frames
can't get eggs fresher than that
Good quote! It looks like those hens must be doing a great job! That is a lot of eggs for just 3 hens--and the wire basket looks great!
We still hang out the laundry occasionally in the summer.
Hi, LV...we hung wash on clothes lines and I would still like to hang a few...they always smelled sooo good.
I did laundry in an old second-hand wringer washer and hung it out to dry for several years - rows and rows of diapers and sheets -- but they smelled so good when you brought them in. But I was so happy when we got an automatic washer and dryer! I thought I was in heaven.
The fresh eggs look wonderful. Our daughter has chickens -- she would love a basket like that (gift idea - thanks !)
