the first fence reminded me of my homeland (wisconsin). the 2nd is definitely texas! thanks, lv, for your good fences and friendship all year long!
I always think I should hum 'Don't fence me in' when I think pf Texas.
The title of this post makes me think of that Robert Frost poem "Mending Wall", where one of the lines is "Good fences make good neighbors." I think he actually means the opposite, though.
