Ah, I remember my Mom having some chairs like that. I wonder what ever happened to them.
There's a guy who cleans these up and re-paints them and sells them on the side of the road. I'd love to buy some from him but they are a little pricey,. and I don't know if he uses the right kind of paint. I'd hate for the paint to peel off in the hot sun here after a couple of weeks! But they are pretty cool. Love the photo of these you have posted!

Oh my goodness! My granny's backyard...shade from the sweet gums..kids running and playing..and the adults sitting around on those metal chairs...SIGH that took me back to the 70s. Thanks!

I love those old metal lawn chairs. You don't see them much anymore. Grandma used to have some just like these. We would sit outside and listen to grandpa and our uncles tell stories of long ago until bedtime. Thanks for joining in!

Love these chairs, such a great photo and although I wouldn't want to sit on them as they are I'd also be reluctant to clean them up as they look so good just the way they are.
