So many interesting vintage things are featured each Thursday on http://coloradolady.blogspot.com
Drop by and say hello to Coloradolady and her friends.
If my memory serves me right, I think we had some of these that we got out of oatmeal or some food product.
We used a very vintage stove by back when, buy it was not this primitive.
Yes, I think you are right on the dishes...or at least I remember getting SOME kind of dishes out of the oatmeal boxes. Hope things are going good for you..bet the weather is sooo hot there. That's what I remember about my time in Dallas...hot and humid.
OK, sister friend, you aren't linked into Pink Sat...I sure am hoping you aren't sick or something. Hoping you are just on a fun trip. Sure wouldn't mind hearing from you.....:) love, bj

I remember those dishes too. My mom had quite a few of them!
i like the cool old stove - hope someone can use it for something neat.
The yellow glass set is gorgeous! Too bad that back then we did not have a clue how these thing things would become pricey antiques.
stoves have come a long way
Love those dishes. I have a water pitcher with the same design, but it is clear glass.
I remember those yellow dishes too. I guess if everybody had saved them they wouldn't be worth so much today.
The stove is a beauty. Thank goodness I did't ever have to cook on one like that though, I bet it is tempermental!
