That's quite a ghostly leaf, and the shadows flitting across it make it all the more spooky!
SHADOW, SHADOW
(With apologies to William Blake)
Shadow, shadow lurking dark
In a corner of the park,
What immortal eye can see
Your transcendent symmetry?

Perhaps it is an albino leaf...We have had very little foliage color this year in Southern New England, perhaps the rain over the summer or Hurricane Irene. The leaves on the mulberry tree out front are avoiding color are merely falling off...This leaf is amazing!
I love the shadow o the leaf,n this is a shadowy tmie of year. Leaves falling, clouds gathering , getting darker. I love it.
Blessings~
A ghostly leaf indeed and what a delightful shadow shot for the day! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

I'm not looking at the shadows, but the huge white leaf, unusually beautiful!

This is beautiful, and so unusual!
wonderful photo!
How did the leaf turn white?
When I was in Borneo growing up, they sell the veins of leaves. I tried to go to the gardens and look for fallen leaves, but can only find partially veined leaves.
Nice ShadowShot. This crispy, white ghost leaf is now forever immortalized in Shadow Shot History! Have a great week ahead.
That leaf is so beautiful against the darkness of the tree limb. What a striking photo.
